Reading Review
Title:Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Author:JK Rowling
What it is about:a chamber opening and a monster (basilike very large snake) coming and petrifying people.
Recommendation:I recommend this book for confident readers
EOTC Dairy:
On Monday all of the year five classes went to Waiarturua park and orienteered for the day. The best thing was some of my friends were in my group. The first course we did we finished first and the second course we were second because we unfortunately got one wrong.
On Tuesday I went to St Kentergins prep for zones swimming. I did freestyle and backstrock. I got my best results in backstrock.
In my heat I got fifth and only just scraped in for the final. In the final I was leading but hit the lane rope and started slowing down. On Wednesday we went to the wave pools the best thing was the hydroslide exept there were so many people that we didn't get many goes. I also liked it when you got to jump off the edge of the pool. The unfortunate thing was that at the end the hydroslide was closed along with the jump.
On Thursday room14 and room12 went to Skateland. It was probably the best day even though I didn't know how to skate. The best thing was the limbo, and racing room14 boys, even though I came close to last. I also liked racing the people that had just learnt to skate on Thursday. I tied first with Matthew and got into the final of our group but we didn't do the finals.
On Friday room14 and room12 went to tree adventures. The best thing was room14 got more time in the trees than room12 because we got our harnesses on first and they had to give us time to get ahead so we got to do the course twice. The downside was we only got to go up to level 4
